Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers by safely transporting patients to and from locations and facilities while ensuring aircraft readiness per FAR and Med-Trans manuals. Maintain accurate regulatory documentation, record keeping, and shift change information on the Med-Trans change board. Collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities to coordinate patient care, accounting for ongoing training and required FAA certifications. Operate on a 7/7 schedule with a full-time commitment. As part of Global Medical Response, deliver compassionate emergency and patient relocation services.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
- 7/7 Schedule
