Collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities to safely transport patients, providing shift change information via the Med-Trans change board protocol. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training under a team of medical experts. This VFR position offers a starting salary of $88,759–$97,635 with up to a 27% geographic modifier, a $15K sign-on bonus, and a $40K retention bonus after three years. A 7/7 schedule is available at most locations, and on-duty housing is provided. As part of Global Medical Response's emergency and patient relocation services, the team prioritizes safety and compassionate care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
