Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers by safely transporting patients to and from facilities while ensuring aircraft readiness per FAR and Med-Trans manuals. Maintain accurate regulatory documentation, record keeping, and shift change information on the Med-Trans change board. Collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, and partners to support emergency and patient relocation services. Maintain required certifications, ongoing training, and an FAA Class II Medical Certificate. Operate under a 7/7 schedule with on-duty housing at most locations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
