Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers by safely transporting patients to and from facilities while ensuring aircraft readiness per FAR and Med-Trans manuals. Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation, communicate with dispatch and flight crews, and provide shift change information via the Med-Trans change board. Accountable for maintaining required certifications, ongoing training, and aircraft cleanliness duties. Requires 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, and 1,000 helicopter PIC hours. 7/7 schedule at most locations with on-duty housing. Starting salary $88,759–$97,635 plus up to 27% geographic modifier, 15K sign-on bonus, and 40K retention bonus after three years.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
