Job Summary
Provide medical air transportation as part of a team of medical experts; ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per FAR/Med-Trans requirements and aircraft cleanliness; maintain regulatory documentation and records; communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners; provide shift change information to the next pilot and team; maintain required certifications and ongoing training. This is a Visual Flight Rules (VFR) position with a focus on safe patient transport and adherence to medical-evacuation protocols.
Required Qualifications
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
