Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers, ensuring aircraft readiness per FAR and Med-Trans manuals while maintaining accurate regulatory documentation. Collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities to transport patients safely, providing shift change information per Med-Trans change board protocol. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for VFR helicopter positions. This role includes a 7/7 schedule at most locations, on-duty housing, and a starting salary range of $88,759 to $97,635 with a $15K sign-on bonus. As part of Global Medical Response's emergency medical services, the team delivers compassionate care for patient relocation and emergency response.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
