Job Summary
Helicopter Pilot position within Global Medical Response’s emergency medical operations. Operates company aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, the Rotorcraft Flight Manual, and state/municipal rules. Performs preflight inspections, monitors forecast and weather conditions, and reports readiness for duty. Requires extensive helicopter flight experience and specific rotorcraft certifications; includes on-site housing at locations and a competitive compensation package with sign-on and retention bonuses. This evergreen EMS pilot role supports multiple VFR positions and allows application routing to the open location of choice.
Required Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Previous HAA experience or equivalent – preferred
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
