Job Summary
Ensure all operations involving Company aircraft comply with Federal Aviation Regulations, the Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and state/municipal rules. Operate the aircraft safely and efficiently, monitoring forecast changes and current weather situations. Conduct preflight inspections utilizing the appropriate rotorcraft flight manual, logging discrepancies and notifying maintenance of corrective actions. Report to duty rested and prepared, staying current on weather and forecast updates. This role features a 7/7 schedule at most locations, with a starting salary of $87,019–$95,720 plus up to 30% geographic modifier, a $15K sign-on bonus, and 40K retention bonus after three years. Required Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 230-pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
- Valid Pilot License
- Valid FAA Medical Certificate
- 7/7 Schedule at most locations
