Job Summary
Hedging Product Control Senior Associate at CIO North America. Responsible for daily P&L and position reporting for Front Office hedge activity, ensuring hedge documentation completeness, coordinating with Technology on reporting, monthly monitoring of core balances, performing regression analyses to assess hedge effectiveness, analyzing P&L components and drivers of hedge activity, and contributing to implementation of new hedging strategies while overseeing controls around hedging processes and participating in ad-hoc analytical projects. Requires strong organization, analytical ability, knowledge of interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, fixed income instruments, and proficiency with Excel and data analytics tools. Excellent communication to interface with Front Office, Operations, and Technology teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- High motivation, a desire to learn, and ability to quickly climb learning curve
- Basic understanding of Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, Fixed Income Instruments and Debt products
- Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and deliverables and meeting recurring deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel and some familiarity with Data Analytics Tools
- Ability to quickly learn various reporting and risk systems
- Solid understanding of financial accounting and finance
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with Front Office, Operations and Technology teams
