Job Summary
Grow existing customer relationships and acquire new relationships with hedge funds and leveraged accounts in Hong Kong and North Asia by collaborating with current sales coverage. Leverage knowledge of fixed income, equities, and electronic trading platforms to maximize growth opportunities within the Asia region. Work closely with internal teams in London and the US offices while demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlines. This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level generalist sales professional seeking to build a career in FinTech sales.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Marketing/ Communications or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Working knowledge of / strong interest in fixed income, rates and/or equities products
- Proficient with full MS Office suite
- Dedicated team player
- Exemplary work ethic; eager to learn
- Strong communication skills and ability to perform under stress and tight deadline
- Ability to work in Hong Kong (Permanent Resident or other permit)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin and/or other regional languages
- Some prior experience in covering Hedge Funds and other leveraged accounts in Hong Kong and North Asia
- Knowledge of electronic trading platform workflows and sales processes
- Candidates with sales background experience
