Job Summary
Hebrew Language Instructor needed to teach adult professionals in-person at the ICLS schoolhouse in Washington, DC. Teaching assignments vary and may be full-time or part-time, for private students and/or small groups, across a wide range of proficiency levels. Requirements include a minimum of two years’ experience teaching Hebrew to adults in a full-time setting, native-level Hebrew, and at least a bachelor’s degree, with legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred qualifications include a postgraduate degree in teaching or second language acquisition, ILR scale familiarity, curriculum development experience, and experience preparing students for DoD and Foreign Service proficiency testing. Responsibilities center on delivering student-centered language instruction and may involve curriculum development and use of Educational Technology tools.
