Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by completing inspections, preventive maintenance, and adjustments to ensure safety and customer service. Troubleshoot reported problems, run diagnostic tests, and analyze results to resolve malfunctions in a timely manner. Perform lockout/tagout procedures, rebuild hydraulic components, and replace tires, brakes, and other utilities as needed. Work in adverse conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow to repair vehicles and stationary equipment. Maintain accurate records for all work and procedures while adhering to company safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including frequent lifting of heavy components, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing and consistent standing, walking and grasping
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing, including a drug screen
