Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by completing inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on trucks and stationary vehicles. Perform maintenance tasks based on driver pre and post trip inspections, troubleshoot reported problems, and run diagnostic tests to analyze results and resolve malfunctions. Build and assemble mechanical components, rebuild hydraulic systems, and execute lockout/tagout procedures while maintaining accurate records. Work in adverse conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow to ensure maximum reliability and operator safety. Complete all duties in accordance with company safety policies and participate in training opportunities to expand knowledge of products and services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
