Job Summary
Perform front- and rear-end alignments, adjusting caster, camber, and toe while diagnosing and replacing components like tie rod ends, drag links, U-bolts, and shims. Inspect vehicles for worn or damaged parts, recommend repairs, and troubleshoot customer concerns by verifying fixes through testing. Utilize hand tools, alignment machines, brake lathes, and air tools to maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized. Document services and repairs accurately while adhering to all safety, federal, and state requirements. Assist with other shop duties as needed within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Alignment or heavy-duty mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- State Inspection license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
