Job Summary
Accomplish assigned repair, overhaul, and modification tasks including assembly, disassembly, inspection, and functional testing of commercial aircraft accessory components. Assemble and install structural elements like XL bins, floor structures, and trolley blocks using precise alignment techniques. Perform structural drilling, riveting, and bonding operations to fabricate and secure aircraft components while reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering instructions. Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the build process to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and safety requirements. Order parts and materials required for specific jobs assigned. Maintain current and up-to-date work orders, shop travelers, and work documents including all pertinent paperwork related to work accomplished prior to shift change or work stoppage.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Airframe and Powerplant license
- Hands on experience on Airbus 319 Modifications
Desired Qualifications
- Airframe and Powerplant license highly preferred
