Job Summary
Operate knives and hooks safely and efficiently, performing physical tasks such as pushing, lifting, and pulling weights up to 80 lbs. Work in varying environmental conditions (cold, hot, humid) and stand for long shifts on a moving table or chain. Must wear all required PPE and comply with PPE protocols. Prior meat processing or similar manufacturing experience (1 month) is required; experience in related processing roles (e.g., Pull Clod, Bone Chuck/Arm/Rib, Tenders, Tops, Seam Rounds) or harvesting roles (Legger, Butter, etc.) is preferred. Required Qualifications
- 1 month prior experience in a meat processing or similar manufacturing environment such as a butcher shop
- Experience in Processing: Pull Clod, Bone Chuck, Bone Arm, Bone Rib, Pull Tenders, Bone Tops, Seam Rounds (preferred)
- Must be physically able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Willingness and ability to work on a moving chain or table
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Endurance to stand for long periods
- Ability to properly wear and utilize PPE
