Job Summary
Lead Technician responsible for leading heavy maintenance work on petroleum fueling systems at commercial and retail sites. Independently manage field work, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards without direct supervision. Must have 5+ years of experience in petroleum service/maintenance/construction, strong knowledge of fuel systems, demonstrated leadership in the field, ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics, and willingness to travel. Responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, developing field solutions, coordinating with project managers/customers/inspectors, maintaining documentation, and upholding safety and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in petroleum service, maintenance, or construction
- Strong working knowledge of fuel systems, including tanks, piping, and dispensing equipment
- Proven ability to perform heavy maintenance tasks independently from start to finish
- Demonstrated leadership experience in the field (lead technician or foreman level)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel as required
