Heavy Maintenance Lead

Job Summary
Lead daily direction and coordination for a group of Heavy Maintenance Technicians, overseeing assignments to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Conduct onsite operations, install, maintain, and repair equipment while performing as the working leader and point of contact for high-priority issues. Review jobs with management, submit completed paperwork, and conduct safety evaluations to verify safe completion of assignments. Mentor four to six technicians, review performance reports, and issue input on team improvements. Maintain company equipment and ensure all certifications remain current. Requires five years of direct Heavy Maintenance experience in the petroleum industry, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including after-hours shifts and travel up to two weeks at a time.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 5 years of direct Heavy Maintenance experience in the Petroleum Industry
- Ability to successfully lead and mentor 4-6 Heavy Maintenance Techs
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand 8-10 hours per day
- Team player with high standards for appearance and professionalism
- Ability to operate up to a 90-pound jack hammer throughout the workday
- Computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work after-hours
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel, up to 2 weeks at a time
- Ability to safely operate industry specific tools and equipment
- Obtain / Maintain or possess / maintain certifications
- Ability to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR
