Job Summary
Operate non-CNC heavy fabrication machinery (Saw, Punch, Shear, Beam Splitter, Threader) to fabricate and assist with HMO A/B equipment on structural steel projects; read blueprints/shop drawings, perform maintenance, troubleshoot materials, and ensure safety/PPE compliance; transport materials with cranes as needed; maintain organized work area. Requires high school diploma or GED and 12 months of related experience or vocational training; familiarity with overhead cranes and forklifts; ability to interpret documents and perform basic math.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 12 months of experience or related vocational training
- Experience operating non-CNC fabrication equipment (Saw, Punch, Shear, Beam Splitter, Threader)
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Overhead crane and forklift operation experience
- Basic mathematical and measurement skills
