Job Summary
Oversee daily field operations for heavy highway and infrastructure projects across North-Central Kentucky, coordinating crews and subcontractors on roadway construction, excavation, embankment, storm drainage, and blasting activities. Manage complex earthmoving projects in alignment with project schedules, specifications, and DOT compliance standards while maintaining a safe work environment through OSHA training and rigorous safety protocols. Lead a team of field personnel with strong organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks for a growing backlog of infrastructure work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required or equivalent field experience
- Minimum of 7 years of field leadership experience in road construction and/or large earthmoving projects
- Strong understanding of heavy highway construction methods, practices, and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
- Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate subcontractors effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to project success
- OSHA training and strong knowledge of jobsite safety standards and regulations
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel
