Job Summary
Heavy Haul Truck Driver responsible for operating trucks and trailers designed for heavy equipment transport, securing and inspecting loads, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, adhering to DOT and company safety regulations, coordinating with dispatchers and site managers for delivery schedules, maintaining delivery and maintenance records, troubleshooting transport issues, and communicating with clients and team members. Requires experience with oversized loads, a valid CDL with endorsements, and willingness to travel; physical ability to secure loads, perform inspections, and work flexible hours in varied weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsement
- Proven experience hauling heavy equipment or oversized loads
- Excellent driving record and safety history
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours
- Physical ability to secure loads and perform inspections
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Willingness to comply with DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screen with a 'Negative' result
- Must be able to complete post-offer physical with a 'Capable' result
- Mindfulness and problem-solving abilities
- 2 years of experience preferred
