Job Summary
Safely operate commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers and heavy hauling equipment, transporting machinery and specialized loads to and from job sites. Load, secure, and unload materials in accordance with DOT regulations while conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by completing required documentation, logs, and inspection reports accurately. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and project personnel while assisting with transportation and rigging operations as needed. Work primarily Monday through Friday with home time most nights, supporting Hohl Transportation & Rigging's industrial construction and equipment sales services.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B Driver's License
- Ability to meet and maintain all DOT qualification requirements
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle safety practices and DOT regulations
- Ability to safely operate and inspect commercial vehicles and related equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Heavy hauling, rigging, Landoll, Flatbed and Lowboy trailer experience is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
