Job Summary
Load and unload heavy construction equipment including front-end loaders, excavators, and dozers onto lowboy, flatbed, and landoll trailers. Drive tractor trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off units while verifying material types and weight restrictions. Perform daily maintenance checks, clean equipment, and monitor fluids and grease. Complete electronic pre/post trip DOT inspections and promptly report accidents or mechanical faults. Assist with mobilizations and demobilizations, providing miscellaneous labor help on job sites. Work independently in all weather conditions while complying with DOT safety rules and regulations. Requires a valid Class A CDL, three years of heavy equipment loading experience, and ability to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Clean CDL record
- Current medical card
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to travel
- Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmissions
- Working knowledge of construction site safety
- Working knowledge of truck maintenance
- Working knowledge of road safety regulations
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet)

- Must be able to perform regular maintenance to ensure the truck is in operable working order
- Must be able to clean the equipment

- Must be able to report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management
- Must be able to complete electronic pre/post trip DOT inspection report
- Must be able to comply with all DOT safety rules and regulations
- Must be able to assist in Mobilizations/Demobilizations as needed
- Must be able to provide miscellaneous labor help on job site
- Must be able to operate brand new 2022 Peterbilt 389 Tractor
- Must be able to operate new 2022 Trailers
