Heavy Haul Capacity Sales Representative

Job Summary
Sourcing and managing heavy haul and oversize transportation capacity; build carrier relationships; negotiate rates; coordinate with operations and account management to ensure successful execution of specialized shipments; ensure DOT compliance and routing/permit requirements; track shipment updates and carrier performance; develop new carrier partnerships and expand networks; analyze market trends and capacity conditions; leverage knowledge of RGNs, lowboys, flatbeds, step decks, and other heavy-haul equipment to secure optimal carrier solutions for oversize and overweight shipments.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in heavy haul, oversize, specialized, or project freight transportation required
- Knowledge of heavy haul equipment including RGNs, lowboys, flatbeds, step decks, multi-axle trailers
- Understanding of permitting, routing restrictions, escort requirements, and DOT/FMCSA regulations related to oversize freight
- Experience negotiating rates and managing carrier relationships in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and transportation management systems (TMS)
