Job Summary
Operate extended boom lifts and heavy forklifts to move, load, and unload materials, trucks, and containers throughout the facility. Ensure safe and efficient handling and storage of inventory while maintaining accurate records of material movement. Inspect and maintain equipment to guarantee safe operation, strictly following all safety procedures and regulations. Coordinate material movement with team members and supervisors to ensure timely delivery. Assist with general warehouse duties and inventory management as needed. Valid forklift operator certification and two years of experience operating extended boom lifts and heavy forklifts are required. Work in a fast-paced Marine/Industrial environment with flexibility for overtime and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating extended boom lifts and heavy forklifts
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
