Job Summary
Operate heavy forklifts (10,000+ lbs) in yard/warehouse/onsite to move, load, unload, and stack materials; perform pre-operational inspections; ensure safety per OSHA; coordinate with supervisors and team; maintain material movement records; may assist with general labor or warehouse tasks; requires high school diploma or equivalent and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts (10,000 lbs or more)
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Ability to read and interpret load charts, safety protocols, and work instructions
- Physically fit to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer or inventory system experience is a plus
