Heavy Equipment Truck Driver - Coatesville, PA

Operate haul trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, water trucks and other heavy industrial vehicles on-site to transport scrap metal, slag, raw materials, and other loads between plant or yard locations. Perform pre-shift inspections and daily equipment checks; maintain awareness of pedestrians, rail traffic, and surrounding equipment; load, haul, dump, and maneuver heavy equipment in congested industrial areas. Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, scale house, and equipment operators regarding material movement needs; follow designated routes and site rules; report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions. Assist with general yard tasks as needed; participate in safety meetings and training. Requires high school diploma or GED (preferred) and previous heavy equipment operating experience; willingness to work overtime or rotating shifts; ability to operate multiple types of equipment in a steel mill/scrap yard environment.
