Heavy Equipment Transportation Driver - Class A

Job Summary
Operate flatbed and other heavy trucks (including heavy-duty vehicles, box trucks, and service bodies) to transport materials, equipment, and construction supplies throughout Southern California. Hook up and tow trailers, load and unload materials with proper securement, maintain driver logs, communicate delivery timelines with dispatch, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and assist with warehouse/yard duties during non-driving periods. Schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m. Overtime may be available. Requirements include a Class A CDL, at least two years of construction-driving experience, ability to lift up to 50 lb, DOT drug test, and DOT medical form. Required Qualifications
- Class A commercial driver’s license (FMCSA acceptable)
- Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience within a construction environment
- Ability to perform physical work, lifting or pulling up to 50 lb continuously
- Pass a pre-employment DOT drug test
- Valid DOT medical form
- Experience operating flatbed/heavy-duty/box/service body vehicles
- Knowledge of load securement and proper tie-down procedures
- Maintenance of driver logs and supporting documentation
