Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex hydraulic and electrical systems on agricultural machinery using diagnostic equipment, schematics, and manuals. Examine protective guards and safety devices, follow checklists for critical parts, and test-drive equipment to ensure smooth operation. Tag warranty parts, complete assigned service and repairs according to safety procedures and torque specifications, and maintain an organized workspace. Tag all warranty parts and return them to the warranty clerk. Attend training classes, review factory technical bulletins, and develop positive relationships with customers. Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner. Adhere to manufacturer policies regarding labor operations, time, and repair order documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
- Proven experience working specifically on large agricultural machinery or heavy equipment
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to independently lift between 50-75 pounds
