Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar diesel-powered machines in construction and industrial settings, in both shop and field environments. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic, fuel, electrical, and mechanical systems, set up new machinery, install replacement parts, and operate a company-provided field service truck. Utilize Cat ET and other diagnostic software; collaborate with mentors or work independently depending on experience. Training provided and opportunities for career advancement in Bryan, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
- Must pass standard physical
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, electrical, and fuel systems
- Experience as a diesel mechanic or similar background, including military training, preferred
- Ability to demonstrate diagnostic, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills
