Job Summary
Conduct maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment using independent judgment. Practice safe job practices while utilizing laptops and tablets for work order documentation. Assist in training lower-level technicians, manage pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, and travel to customer job sites when required. Maintain service vehicles in a clean and professional manner while adhering to OSHA requirements. Complete year-round company provided OEM training and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be available for on-call scheduling
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school certificate
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
