Job Summary
Maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy equipment in both shop and field service environments. Conduct maintenance on construction, earth-moving, forestry, mining, and landscaping machinery while interpreting blueprints and schematics. Utilize diagnostic scanning tools proficiently to address mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues. Welding experience is preferred for these duties. Day shift hours run from 7AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime available. MasterTech offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $26.00 to $35.00 plus bonuses, alongside comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K matching.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools
Desired Qualifications
- Welding experience is preferred
- Working knowledge on construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc., equipment is preferred
