Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all on-site mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu, and Epiroc machinery with minimal supervision. Perform preventative maintenance across shop and service truck environments as a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic. Work a 14 days on, 14 days off rotation at a Northern Ontario mining camp where meals and accommodations are provided. Complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing prior to receiving a conditional job offer. This role supports the client's large international mining operations in a camp-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work with minimum direction and supervision
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all on-site mobile equipment
- A Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic with heavy mining or construction equipment
- Ability to work either in a shop or service truck environment
- Verbal and written proficiency of the English language
- Must be able to work 14 days in 14 days out rotation
- Must be able to work in a camp focused role
- Must complete a pre-employment medical
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CAT Komatsu and Epiroc equipment
