Job Summary
Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment, transmissions, engines, and hydraulic components for servicing needs, performing repairs, maintenance, and reconditioning both in the shop and on-site. Communicate with equipment owners for authorization, complete work orders, fill out warranty information, and update service records. Recondition and remanufacture parts as required while maintaining a professional company image and complying with Health & Safety program practices and Hazard assessments. Establish strong working relationships with customers and participate in manufacturer and in-house training. Conduct housekeeping duties and verify electrical component operations, including energized components and transfer switch tests.
Required Qualifications
- Trade certification
- Journeyman Red Seal
- currently registered in a related Provincial Apprenticeship program
- 2-3 years
