Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice

Job Summary
Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment, transmissions, engines, and hydraulic components for servicing needs. Perform testing, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of equipment in the shop and on-site. Recondition and remanufacture components as required. Communicate with equipment owners for authorization and complete service paperwork, work orders, and warranty information. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers while conducting housekeeping duties. Participate in manufacturers' and in-house service training, including Health & Safety programs. Comply with Hazard assessments and maintain a professional company image.
Required Qualifications
- Trade certification
- Journeyman Red Seal
- currently registered in a related Provincial Apprenticeship program
- 2-3 years
