Job Summary
Field and shop Heavy Equipment & Small Engine Mechanic needed in Mt. Clemens, MI for Masonry Solutions Midwest LLC. Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (skid steers, telehandlers, forklifts, mixers, and trucks) and maintain small gas-powered equipment; perform preventative maintenance and emergency field repairs; ensure equipment is safe and job-ready. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holidays, and a company-provided service truck and tools. Compensation starts at $30+ hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in heavy equipment and small engine repair
- Proficient in troubleshooting diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and gas-powered equipment
- Ability to work independently in the field and in a team environment in the shop
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in heavy equipment and small engine repair
