Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare — maintain and repair a variety of heavy equipment, aerial lifts, and customer-owned machinery at a West, TX rental facility. Responsibilities include creating and tracking work orders, monitoring service intervals, ordering parts, diagnosing issues using data from multiple makes/models, and maintaining electronic documentation. Must be able to use laptops/tablets, practice safe maintenance, and assist in training lower-level technicians. Requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, strong customer service and teamwork, and the ability to work overtime and on-call. OSHA awareness and OEM training available year-round. On-site role with standard hours Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with potential on-call compensation. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Must own tools applicable to position
