Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic)

Job Summary
Repair and maintain heavy equipment and aerial lifts in a shop setting, using diagnostics to identify root causes, create, assign, and monitor work orders, and order parts. Provide maintenance and repair for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment; assist in training lower level technicians; maintain electronic documentation of work performed; assist with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts; ensure OSHA compliance; participate in year-round OEM training; be comfortable using laptops/tablets and operate with independent judgment. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
