Job Summary
Diagnose issues by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models, determine root causes, and perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment. Create, assign, and monitor work orders using laptops and tablets, track service intervals, order parts, and maintain electronic documentation daily. Practice safe job practices while assisting in the training of lower-level technicians and handling equipment pick-up and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
