Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Shop Technician responsible for maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment. Diagnose issues, create and monitor work orders, order parts, and access data from diverse equipment models using laptops/tablets. Maintain documentation of work performed, assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment, and uphold OSHA safety requirements. Role includes training of lower-level technicians, overtime opportunities after 40 hours, and on-call scheduling with additional compensation. Emphasis on safe practices, customer service, teamwork, and using diagnostic tools to keep the fleet running.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
