Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare — onsite facility in Haskell, TX. You’ll maintain and repair a variety of company-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts, diagnose issues quickly using data from multiple makes/models, and manage work orders. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, ordering parts, training lower-level technicians as needed, keeping electronic work-order records, assisting with pickup/delivery of equipment & parts, and adhering to OSHA requirements. You’ll operate with independent judgment, use laptops/tablets for data, and participate in year-round OEM training. Role supports a safety-conscious, team-focused environment with potential on-call overtime. Must pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check. Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma or Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
