Job Summary
Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking service intervals and diagnosing issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models. Perform maintenance and repair on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts. Order parts, maintain electronic documentation of daily work, and assist in training lower-level technicians. Support equipment and parts pick-up and delivery while adhering to safe job practices and OSHA requirements. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime pay available after 40 hours, subject to on-call scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
