Job Summary
Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment, transmissions, engines, and hydraulic components for servicing needs, performing testing, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning at the customer site or shop. Communicate with equipment owners for authorization, complete work orders, fill out warranty information, and update service records while maintaining strong working relationships. Recondition and remanufacture parts as required, verify electrical component operations including energized fields, and conduct housekeeping duties. Comply with Health & Safety programs and Hazard assessments, participate in manufacturer and in-house training, and work with online support tools.
Required Qualifications
- Trade certification
- Journeyman Red Seal
- currently registered in a related Provincial Apprenticeship program
- 2-3 years
