Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician

Job Summary
Inspect crushing and screening equipment upon initial delivery for defects; diagnose faults or malfunctions; adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts; test repaired equipment for proper performance; perform routine maintenance including cleaning and lubrication; maintain inventory and tools; follow safety rules; contribute to reports and time/material tracking; work primarily on crusher, screener, and conveyor equipment at quarry/minesite sites; requires valid driver’s license, 2 years of service-repair experience, and ability to lift 75 lbs; welding is an asset; comfortable working outdoors in all weather and providing strong customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience performing service repairs
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Welding experience is an asset
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
