Job Summary
Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking service intervals and ordering parts using laptops and tablets. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment with independent judgment. Maintain electronic documentation of work performed daily and assist in training lower-level technicians. Practice safe job practices and support pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment
- Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service skills
- Teamwork skills
- Verbal communication skills
- Written communication skills
- High School diploma
- Trade school certificate
- Must be able to move freely
- Must be able to stand freely
- Must be able to stoop freely
- Must be able to bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
