Job Summary
Diesel Equipment Mechanic in a small shop within a large company. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel and hydraulic equipment; welding and fabricating parts and components; modifying equipment according to project specifications; and periodic travel to project sites to set up equipment at the start of new projects. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of diesel mechanical experience, ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel/hydraulic systems, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver's license. Daytime, full-time role with some overtime; experience with welding and fabrication preferred.
