Job Summary
Diagnose and repair construction and aerial equipment including Skid Steers, Mini Excavators, and towable units, ensuring all machinery meets quality and safety standards before rental. Operate and test equipment under actual conditions while following checklists, owner's manuals, and schematics. Provide guidance to Service Technicians on required repairs and assist in equipment retirement decisions. Maintain inventory control documents and follow all paperwork procedures related to servicing. Prioritize safety by adhering to SOPs, PPE requirements, and reporting unsafe conditions. Actively listen to customers to resolve issues fairly and consistently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of Heavy Equipment repair or related experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- G Class (ON)/Class 5 (AB) Provincial Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
- Must possess a mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Action-oriented with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety
Desired Qualifications
- Heavy equipment trades certification is an asset
- Experience with Health and Safety training is an asset (i.e. WHMIS, etc.)
