Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment and diesel engines. Perform mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment, including rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance. Weld, cut, and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment. Work safely at all times in a surface and/or underground mine setting. Operate heavy equipment regularly as part of a full-time role requiring 40+ hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid US driver's license
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engine repairs
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a trade school
- Previous mining experience
- Bilingual
- A CDL and a clean driving record
