Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment and diesel engines. Perform mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment, handling rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance. Weld, cut, and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment while working safely at all times. This full-time role requires 40+ hours per week in a surface and/or underground mine setting and involves operating heavy equipment. Previous mining experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid US driver's license
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engine repairs
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a trade school
- Previous mining experience
- Bilingual
- CDL
- clean driving record
