Job Summary
Mobile Equipment Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs on diesel-powered quarry/construction equipment including troubleshooting, repairs, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on CAT, Komatsu & Volvo equipment. Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment; maintain safety at all times; work 40+ hours per week in a surface mine setting; strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational training or equivalent experience
- HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engine repairs
- Certification from a trade school is preferred
- A CDL and a clean driving record
